Dulais Valley Churches and Chapels


Due to the many relationships being churches and chapels across the area, our website includes the Upper Dulais Valley from Banwen and Dyffryn Cellwen to Crynant.


Chapels and churches of Crynant include Saint Margaret's Church, with the medieval chapel of ease alongside it, Bethel methodist chapel, and Saron Chapel, all of which remain open. Several closed, demolished or converted chapels are also covered.

The Chapels and churches of Onllwyn are only to be found in the past. The once-imposing Onllwyn Chapel has been demolished, and some of its records now held by the West Glamorgan Archives.
